WHAT LEVEL OF SKIER ARE YOU?

How do you know if your skiing level will suit this class? The BreakthroughPLUS! Private Lesson will suit you if you are an adult Male or Female skier comfortable on any groomed run. If you have not skied Telluride before then whatever the equivalent of our Blue runs at your home resort will be a good guide. You might have been alright in small bumps or 3” of powder but you can feel that ‘something is not right’ when you venture into the un-groomed. If you have participated in the Telluride Ski School Group lessons before, you would have most likely been put in Level 7 or maybe a strong 6. You may even have been moved to the Level 8 class because of your speed or aggression level only to have found some terrain very challenging indeed. You may also have been one of those skiers in Level 8 who fought hard all day with 'survival' foremost in your mind and in the end didn’t really feel that you progressed or accomplished much. Then this can help you too. Alternatively, if you have always felt intimidated by un-groomed terrain, or are easily frightened through lack of control on steeper or faster runs, then BreakthroughPLUS! can help you also. It will give you a skill-base upon which to build your confidence through improved and solid control. It’s time to develop the foundation upon which you will go forth into Advanced skiing. GROUP DIVISION:
Private Lessons in Telluride are capped at 6 people. So you may opt for an exclusive
one-on-one lesson with Howard or join others up to 6 people and share the cost.
Six people constitutes only two chairs on a lift, but generally these
semi-private groups have fewer than six people in them.
SINGLES: Those skiing alone are very welcome indeed;
in fact most students attend without a spouse etc.
Contact Howard with your travel dates and he will
endeavor to join you up with other like-minded skiers.
